Şengül is an old woman who lost her husband years ago. Her daughter Gamze, who is a civil servant, is married and has 2 children; It closely deals with the needs of Şengül. Şengül spends her quiet and lonely life by trying to keep the the winter garden alive as a souvenir from her husband.

Gamze takes Şengül, who is routinely treated for health problems, from the hospital. Gamze has a hysteria crisis when she wants to go to a flower shop Şengül has known for a long time. She rises with a long tirat and shows a very harsh reaction to her mother; but still they go to the florist. Şengül is concerned about the death of plants in the winter garden. Over time, this paranoia grows and becomes obsessive. Calling with Şengül's doctor at the florist, Gamze is shaken when the doctor indicates a serious illness.

Gamze, who is saddened and regretful because of the news she received and the harsh reaction to her mother, invites Şengül to her home on the way back, but she cannot get a positive return. Later on, Gamze, who left her mother home, is shaken once more in the face of Şengül's passive reaction and leaves the house quietly. Şengül spends some time with her assistant Dilek in the winter garden.
